The World Market for Fish Flours, Meals, and Pellets Fit For Human Consumption: A 2009 Global Trade Perspective

The World Market for Fish Flours, Meals, and Pellets Fit For Human Consumption: A 2009 Global Trade Perspective Review

See more picture

This report was created for strategic planners, international executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics that appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption for those countries serving the world market via exports or supplying from various countries via imports. I do so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models. On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners approaching the world market face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption? What is the dollar value of these imports? How much do the imports of fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption vary from one country to another? Do exporters serving the world market have similar market shares across the importing countries? Which countries supply the most exports of fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption? Which countries are buying their exports? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Fish Flours, Meals, and Pellets Fit For Human Consumption in Norway

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Fish Flours, Meals, and Pellets Fit For Human Consumption in Norway Review

See more picture

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption in Norway face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption to Norway? How important is Norway compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption vary from one country of origin to another in Norway? On the supply side, Norway also exports fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption. Which countries receive the most exports from Norway? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption in Norway. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption for those countries serving Norway via exports, or supplying from Norway via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Norway fits into the world market for imported and exported fish flours, meals, and pellets fit for human consumption. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Norway in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Norway is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Norway compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

"This is how holiday cooking should be--warm, welcoming, and straight from the heart."
--Anne Willan, author of Cook It Right

Only the best cookbooks stand the test of time, and this rich assemblage of holiday recipes by Joan Nathan, award-winning food writer and host of the PBS series Jewish Cooking in America, has brought the joy and festivity of holiday cooking to Jewish households for more than two decades.
Here are 250 recipes for main courses, soups, appetizers, breads, and desserts culled from around the world to help you enhance your family's celebrations of the sixteen major holidays. In addition to the foods you remember from your mother's table, there are dishes that date as far back as the Second Temple, as well as contemporary American Jewish creations.  Explaining their origins and the holidays that have shaped them, Nathan peppers these delicious recipes with delightful stories about the people who make them today.
Try exotic dishes like the Yemenite High Holiday Soup Stew or the Persian Pomegranate-Walnut Chicken. Or, closer to home, choose the Charlestonian Broth and Matzah Balls. No matter what you select, this essential book will bring the rich variety and heritage of Jewish cooking to your holiday table year round.
